Imaginary Worlds works with preserved roses as both flowers and design material. Craft protects their natural character, then gives it structure, scale, and symbolism.
Preservation
The rose’s natural moisture is carefully replaced with a stabilizing solution. This keeps the bloom soft and recognizable while pausing the visible passage of time.
Selection
Preserved roses are grouped by tone, scale, and texture. Small variations remain important: they give a finished sculpture the rhythm of something made from nature.
Composition
Each bloom is placed by hand around a defined form. The process is part floristry, part product design—balancing silhouette, density, meaning, and how the object is seen in space.
